About me

Hello, I'm Rachel

Registered Nutritional Therapist, MBANT, RegCNHC 

Growing up immersed in sports and physical activity, I discovered my passion for nutrition when I became aware of the profound impact that nutrition had on physical performance. 

Whilst studying for my Psychology degree (BSc) at the University of Sheffield, I volunteered at South Yorkshire Eating Disorder Association which further sparked my interest in not only the physiological effects of nutrition, but the psychological effects. This ultimately led to 3 years of extensive study at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.

I have also spent over eight years in the corporate world with experience in coordinating corporate wellness initiatives, focusing on both physiological and psychological wellness in the workplace.

Programmes

1:1 360 Nutritional Therapy Programme

A one-hour initial consultation will be based on a pre-populated health questionnaire. This questionnaire takes a deep dive into your goals, current health status, health concerns, presenting symptoms, medications, supplements, family history, dietary habits and lifestyle. This includes a 5 day food and lifestyle diary.

 

Following a comprehensive analysis of the above-mentioned questionnaire using evidence-based nutrition science, the consultation will include (but is not limited to):

  • Food diary review and discussion of macro and micronutrient intake and absorption, identifying any imbalances in accordance with your goals and unique nutritional needs

  • Identification of potential physiological and psychological causes or contributors to your health challenges 

  • Medication and supplement review including identification of any drug-nutrient interactions

  • A health optimisation plan with personalised dietary, nutraceutical and lifestyle recommendations

  • Resources and tools you can take away to help you navigate your nutritional needs day-to-day

  • Clinical testing recommendations and interpretation of results if applicable

  • Packages also include online support between consultations to support you along the way

 

If booking as part of the core package, follow up consultations are used to build on the initial plan, look at what's working vs what's proving challenging, and making the necessary adjustments. The package can be tailored to the level of support you require and therefore package length will vary depending on time between consultations.

One-off sessions:

1 hour initial session: £110

45 minute follows up session: £75

As employees spend two thirds of their day in the workplace where they typically consume a third of their total calories, nutrition is fundamental for the high performing corporate client.
